He joint the Politecnico di Milano in 2001 and he is actually in the Faculty staff of the Dipartimento di Bioingegneria as Associate Professor. His teaching activities are in the field of Biomedical Signal Processing (Lab course, Master degree) and Bioelectricity and Biolectromagnetism (Bachelor degree). He is among the Lecturers of the PhD course on Advanced Processing of Biomedical Signals and Data. He is Promoter of Erasmus exchange of the Dept. of Bioengineering towards the University of Rennes (France) and Saragoza (Spain). He is the responsible of the Biomedical Signal Processing Laboratory of the Department of Bioengineering and he is Member of the Scientific Board of the Laboratory of Advanced Radiological Analysis (LARA) at the National Cancer Institute of Milano. He is author of more than 70 peer reviewed international papers in the field of biomedical signal and image processing and hundred of conference papers on these topics. He is Associate Professor in the Department of Electronics, Information and Bioengineering at the Politecnico di Milano. He is also affiliated with the Massachusetts General Hospital, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and the Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering at Harvard University in Boston. His broad research interests are in the development of signal processing algorithms for the analysis of biological systems. He is currently focusing his studies on computational modeling of neural information encoding, and on application of nonlinear and multivariate statistical models to characterize heart rate variability and cardiovascular control dynamics. He is author of more than 100 peer-reviewed publications in these fields since 1994. From 2008 to 2012 she was a post-doc at the Department of Biomedical Engineering of the Politecnico di Milano, Italy. Since 2012 she has been assistant professor at Politecnico di Milano, Italy. Her research activity lies in the field of biomedical signal processing with main interests in signals of cardiovascular origin, especially regarding supraventricular arrhythmias. She collaborates with the Department of Electroscience and the Department of Cardiology, Lund Institute of Technology, Sweden; the Dipartimento di Scienze Cliniche e di Comunit\u00e0, Ospedale Maggiore Policlinico, Universit\u00e0 degli Studi di Milano, Italy; Department of Electrocardiology, Medical University of Lodz, Poland; Cardiology Division, University of Rochester, NY, USA; Dipartimento di Informatica, Universit\u00e0 degli Studi di Milano, Italy. Da Ottobre 2014 ha iniziato il dottorato in Ingegneria Biomedica il cui progetto \u00e8 incentrato nello sviluppo di un sistema \u201ccontactless\u201d di acquisizione del ritmo cardiaco mediante registrazione video di volti di pazienti.
